As a result of the unusual end to our school year, we have adjusted how we grade for the fourth marking period. For kindergarten, the students will receive an N/A which represents non-applicable . First and second grade students will receive what they had earned in the third marking period. In grades three through six, students will earn a pass or fail grade. Students may be acknowledged for all the outstanding effort they exhibited in the fourth marking period in the comments. All students in grades 1 and 2 specials will receive a Satisfactory and all students in grades 3-6 specials will receive a Pass; however Outstanding, Good, and acknowledgement in the comments may be given based on completion of remote learning assignments.
Boys entering 7th grade who are interested in trying out for the school boys soccer team in August should look below for information regarding dates, location, and additional details.
In observance of Memorial Day, Penn Manor will not be delivering meals on Monday, May 25. We will be distributing meals on Wednesday, May 27. This is the final day that meals will be distributed for the 2019-2020 school year.

Penn Manor has implemented a meal distribution plan for students that utilizes students’ morning bus stop locations. The free, bagged meals will be delivered by school buses and will include a lunch and breakfast that meet school nutritional standards. These meals are available to any PM student.
Families will receive a lunch and breakfast for two days on Mondays and Wednesday drop-offs include meals for three days. The following dates are distribution dates: May 13, May 18, May 20, & May 27. There is NO distribution on May 25. May 27 will be the LAST delivery of meals for the 2019-2020 school year.
For elementary students, meals will be delivered by buses at students’ regular bus stops at times that roughly correspond with their regular school pickup times. It is a good idea to check the stops on the bus routes below, if you are just joining us, so we don’t miss you.
At all locations, a student should be present for a family member to pick up their meal bag, and family members may pick up meal bags for all members of their family who attend Penn Manor schools from a single location/stop.
Please complete THIS form to help us in recognizing your child’s completion of elementary school. T-shirts will be provided by our gracious PTO as a celebration of your child’s dedication throughout their elementary career and sixth grade year. This form must be completed before Wednesday, April 29th.
As we begin to plan for our end of the year activities for our 6th graders, we need your help! We are asking every parent to send us a picture of their child from when they were 6 months to 3 years old. You can only send ONE! Please send electronic photos (scanned or digital) to email@example.com. Please select a photo that is school appropriate and shows their cute little faces. You might want to pick one that your son or daughter actually approves of to avoid conflict later.
Due to the disaster emergency declaration by Governor Wolf and to safeguard the school community, the Penn Manor School District Board of Directors will hold a virtual school board meeting on Monday, April 20.
A public budget workshop will begin at 6:15 p.m., and the board’s committee of the whole meeting will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the board voting meeting. The link to these meetings will be posted on www.pennmanor.net at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 20.
Penn Manor residents may submit comments to be read during the public comment portion of the meeting by contacting the school board secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Monday, April 20. The citizens’ comment portion of the agenda is for comments only and is not a question-and-answer session.
