Thursday, August 15th Martic Elementary School will host all of our incoming kindergarten students for our kindergarten orientation. This begins at 6:30-7:30 PM. Children will get to visit their classroom, see their new seat, walk around the building and build confidence for the first day of school. Please join us for this fun event.
At 7:30 PM, Dr. Sugra will host tours for any new students planning to attend Martic. Please arrive in time so you can join the group to see the entire building. These opportunities for kids help them become very confident the first day.
Martic Elementary School will CELEBRATE the joy of READING and WRITING throughout the summer. Every Martic student entering grades K-6 for the 2019-2020 school year will be invited to participate in this time of fun-filled activities. Click the links below for more information.
On Tuesday, June 4th, from 12:45-1:15, all seniors who attended Martic Elementary School are invited to visit Martic wearing their cap and gown. It is such an inspiration to our elementary students to see the result of working hard all through school. If you know someone who attended Martic Elementary and is graduating this year, please pass along this information. If they can RSVP to let us know they will be coming, that would give us an idea of how many to expect; however, it is not a requirement. We are looking forward to seeing all our Martic graduates so we can help to celebrate your accomplishment.
Just a reminder that we have an early dismissal Friday. This means all children will be dismissed 2 hours early from school (1:30 PM). This also means that the bus drop off time at the end of the day will be 2 hours earlier. If you forget this time, please refer to your transportation letter that was sent out.
Early dismissals and how they pertain to kindergarten: On early dismissal days we host one class of kindergarten. It is either AM or PM. Friday, May 10th, all of the PM class will attend school the full day (9:00-1:30) and they eat lunch at school. The AM class will not have school on this day.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
