I have some exciting news to share. Starting next year, I will be moving up to Penn Manor High School to continue teaching art. Sadly, this move means I will have to leave my position at the elementary level. I am so grateful for these past three years that I’ve had with your students. We spent a lot of time creating and learning about the world around us. I really enjoyed watching them grow as artists and people over the years. Though I will not be in the classroom with them next year, I am looking forward to seeing them later on when they enter high school! I’m excited for this opportunity to grow myself as an educator, while continuing to bring an impact to the Penn Manor community.
Please continue to foster their creative and energetic spirits. It always brightened my day each time I had a new group of students eager to learn, create, and grow. Art is a way we can understand the world together. Thank you for encouraging the arts at home. And remember, I won’t be too far away!
Just a reminder that we have an early dismissal Friday. This means all children will be dismissed 2 hours early from school (1:30 PM). This also means that the bus drop off time at the end of the day will be 2 hours earlier.
Our regularly scheduled PTO meeting will take place tonight, Tuesday, May 4th at 7 PM. This will be a virtual meeting and we will be voting on PTO officers for next year. Hello parents and guardians…. I recently had to submit a preplanned trip form for my daughter and I learned about an easy way to do this electronically. No more printing the paper, completing it and scanning it back. Every parent or guardian who has a parent sapphire portal can log in and complete a preplanned trip right from this portal. Directions are outlined below.
